LEGO Marvel Superhero 3 (2024)

LEVEL 1: RELUCTANT REUINION[]

INTRO: It starts with Nick Fury getting signals from the devices at the S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier about a huge radiation signal, and he sends Iron Man, Captain America, and Hulk to go check it out in case it's dangerous. Once the trio gets there, they see Kang with a device labeled, "Dimension Hopper", wonder what that can do. They go to stop him, but he uses it to summon several powerful robot goons to save him as he runs into a nearby shelter to escape the heroes.

(Midlevel Cutscene) After the heroes defeat the goons, they enter the shelter and try to find Kang while he's in there, and once they do, he panics and summons more goons and runs further inside, this time a giant robot falls down that's practically invulnerable.

(Boss fight cutscene) Once the heroes take down the giant robot, they finally find Kang, they corner him and tell him to hand them the dimension hopper. Kang decides that he must use his final resort. He uses the Dimension Hopper to pull out a giant mech suit from a different dimension. He hops inside of it, and attacks the heroes.

(Post Level Cutscene) Once Kang is taken down, the heroes walk towards his unconscious body to retrieve the dimension hopper. But, Kang disappears! He's all the way on the other side of the heroes, still unconscious with the dimension hopper near him, but still! Then, they see Mastermind near Kang, he grabs the dimension hopper, and Leader teleports towards Mastermind before telekinetically flying away with Mastermind and the Dimension Hopper. The heroes try to chase after them, but Doctor Doom launches a bolt of electricity at all of them, overloading Iron Man, knocking down Captain America, and irritating Hulk. The three fly away, maniacally laughing while doing it. S.H.I.E.L.D agents take Kang away, towards the Raft.

LEVEL 2 - HYDRA HIGHTS[]

INTRO: Nick Fury tells the Avengers that the villains are using the Dimension Hopper to bring more villains to this reality. Even villains that became heroes are being pulled into this from dimensions where they never became heroes. This includes Quick Silver, Scarlet Witch, Winter Soldier, Emma Frost, Rogue, Black Widow, and Hawkeye. Even heroes that became villains but swapped back are being pulled in, including Colossus, Dark Phoenix, Captain America, Cyclops, and Reed Richards. They even pulled in villains that died from their dimensions to assist, this incudes Obadiah Stane, Erik Killmonger, Aldrich Killian, and Whiplash. And then there are the average villains that just joined, like Thunderbolt Ross, Crossbones, Mister Sinister, Magneto, Wizard, Trapster, Klaw, and Dragon Man. Leader, Doctor Doom, and Mastermind seem to be the backbones of the team. Together, the team consists of 28 members, and they call themselves the Destruction of Everything Anywhere to Trump the Heroes, or D.E.A.T.H. He tells them that they most likely can't beat them alone, so he contacted help from Professor X and Reed Richards, the good one. He sends Thor and Ant-Man to go collect the Dimension Hopper, and they are given one of many D.E.A.T.H bases to go after. After they head there, they see Captain America wearing a uniform that has a HYDRA logo on it, and Captain America looks at the heroes. He scowls, and enters the base, putting it on full lockdown. This is NOT the same Captain America they know.

(Mid-Level Cutscene) After they force their way through the base, they see Captain Germany on the phone, speaking to someone of clear higher position, presumably Leader. He says it's rude to interrupt someone while they're on the phone, and tells HYDRA minions to attack the heroes. He enters a room and sends a giant door with a small crack in it to barricade them from him.

(Boss Fight Cutscene) After they break through the door, they see the Captain Bundesflagge in the room, and he gets irritated that the two won't leave him to his own devices, and he calls in more minions and the boss fight begins.

(Post Level Cutscene) After Captain Deutschland is knocked out, the two go to retrieve him for info, but a portal appears behind him and sucks him away somewhere, presumably back into his own dimension. Nick Fury just tells the two of them to come back, they collected enough info for now.

LEVEL 3 - FANTASTIC FRIGHT[]

INTRO: The Fantastic Four make it to the S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier, and at the perfect timing. War Machine and Captain America were just assigned to a D.E.A.T.H Base, and they could use the extra help. Nick Fury asks Thing to accompany the two heroes to the base. The three travel to the location the base was said to be at, and it's a forest with a very blended in D.E.A.T.H base. Once they head inside, they see Black Widow inside the base, but once she spots them, she immediately rushes in with a clear intent to kill, making it clear this is not the good Black Widow. After hitting Black Widow once, she would flee to the next part.

(Mid-Level Cutscene) They break through the last area, and they see Dragon Man pretty upset that Black Widow failed to kill the heroes. Now that they're here, he tell Black Widow to finish the job and he flies into the sky, leaving the area. Black Widow hops onto a high platform and draws out her guns.

(Boss Fight Cutscene) After Black Widow is defeated, she'll stumble backwards, and Thing would pick her up and throw her towards Dragon Man while he's flying. They collide, knocking Dragon Man down onto the floor, destroying the base and bringing them to a cave. Black Widow is unconscious and leaning on a wall. Dragon Man roars in frustration, and the boss battle begins.

(Post Level Cutscene) Thing yells, "IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME!", as he punches Dragon Man in the face, knocking him out. S.H.I.E.L.D agents come to collect Black Widow and Dragon Man, but a portal opens up, sucking in Black Widow. They then come to the theory that the villains had a backup plan incase the alternate dimension villains lost, and they would get sent back to their own dimension once they fail. They take Dragon Man for interrogation, and they find out that the main goal of the leaders are all different, and they all seem to be thinking the other is duping the other. Doctor Doom wants Latveria to rule over all, as always, Leader wants to be the leader of the world as always, and Mastermind is just using his selfish motives as disguising it as Magneto's want for Mutants to rule over all, hence making Magneto think he's the boss of D.E.A.T.H.

LEVEL 4: PhoenX[]

INTRO: At the X-Mansion, Professor X is telepathically talking to Nick Fury about any info they may have about the threats, and if any of the X-Men are being used against them. Then, as if on que, a laser goes through the wall and almost hits Professor X. Professor X tries to wheel away, but Cyclops(Phoenix Force) is too fast. Then, a plunger hits Cyclops in the head, and Hawkeye chuckles, saying he should cool down. Iceman then freezes Cyclops in a block of ice, and the duo run off, only for Mister Sinister to break him out of it. Cyclops and Iceman agree that they should find the source of the chaos, and put a stop to it.

(Mid-Level Cutscene) Cyclops catches up to the two heroes, and Mister Sinister makes a psychic barrier and puts it around the three of them, saying that he has work to do. Cyclops tries to go after Mister Sinister, since he still hates him, but he's stopped by Jean Grey who sensed what was happening and came to assist. Cyclops then attacks Hawkeye, Iceman, and Jean Grey. [Post Boss Fight] After Cyclops is defeated, he's sucked back into his own dimension, and the barrier disappears. They continue their mission.

(Boss Fight Cutscene) They reach the main room in the X-Mansion, and they see Mister Sinister threatening Professor X, and Hawkeye launches an explosive arrow at Mister Sinister, only for Mister Sinister to catch it and throw it back at Hawkeye and knock him out. Iceman and Jean Grey are about to get attacked, when Professor X telepathically makes a loud sound behind Mister Sinister, distracting him for long enough so that he doesn't attack them. They three now work together to take him down. [New mechanic, telepathy triggers that trick people into thinking something that doesn't exist does exist.]

(Post Level Cutscene) Mister Sinister is knocked out, and S.H.I.E.L.D agents request a sendoff to send him to the raft, but Professor X says he'll handle it. Nick Fury thanks Jean and Iceman for helping Hawkeye, and asks them if it would be a bit too much to send them on another mission. Meanwhile, Leader is consulting Thunderbolt Ross that he has to succeed in his mission, and retrieve the Hulk. Only then can he truly stop the nuisance that's endangered so many lives, and how he can save much more. Doctor Doom shoves Leader out the way and gives Thunderbolt Ross a token that gives slight electricity abilities. Thunderbolt Ross goes off to New York to lure out the Hulk. He knows exactly how to do it, too.

Level 5: NEW YORK CATASTROPHY[]

INTRO: An explosion rings out in New York City, and Spiderman swings towards the site of the explosion, and he sees Mr. Fantastic with Thunderbolt Ross. Spiderman swings towards the general and his pal, only to almost get crushed by Mr. Fantastic who turned into a fly swatter! Spiderman's spider-senses alert him that that's not the Reed Richards he knows, and he tries to take them down, only for them to flee. A ton of Hulkbusters come down to defeat Spiderman, but Hulk comes in and busts them. Spiderman thanks Hulk for the help, but they need to save the citizens that are in trouble.

(Midlevel cutscene) After the heroes save everyone in the area, the Hulkbusters alert their leader, Thunderbolt Ross, that it's going pretty bad for them, as more heroes arrive to stop them. Thunderbolt Ross says he has connections to take down the heroes attacking them. Spiderman then sees Daredevil in trouble and comments that they should help him. [Once you reach Daredevil, switch to him and win the QTE against Elektra to save him. Then, Daredevil mentions he came here because he heard the Punisher struggling against someone and was going to assist him, but got caught up fighting Elektra. To rescue Punisher, swap into him, punch Jigsaw once, prompting him to hop onto a silver platform, swinging his arms around like an idiot. As Punisher, blow up the silver platform with his missile launcher to knock out out Jigsaw.]

(Boss Fight Cutscene) After saving Daredevil and Punisher, the four head deeper into New York City until they reach the Empire State Building, and they see Thunderbolt Ross and evil Reed Richards(the Maker) and they go to take them down, but Thunderbolt Ross tells the Maker to protect him while he shuts off all the power in New York City to build the mega D.E.A.T.H base there.

(Post Level Cutscene) After they're defeated, the Maker is taken back to his dimension. While they're taking Thunderbolt Ross in, he's reminded of his position as general, and he's hurt more citizens than he has protected them. He asks if he could help the heroes somehow, and Nick Fury brings him to the S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier and says he can make up for it b helping the heroes, and helping HULK. Thunderbolt Ross begrudgingly agrees to help his archenemy, and becomes a temporary S.H.I.E.L.D agent.
