Morning all. 7.6 for me. I'm taking mum to a medical appointment this morning (i know...its Sunday!) then bringing her back to ours and my brother is coming. I'm cooking roast chicken for us all.

Last night the fox was back. We were watching tv, curtains open, windows open. I looked up and there was the fox, paws on the window sill looking in at us. Its a good job the door wasn't open as well. He ran off. Checked the plants this morning and they are all ok. The prickle strips seem to be working atm.

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

It's a beautiful morning here, all blue sky and sunshine. Forecast says it's in for the day, too. Slept well and feel fine today after whatever got me yesterday.

Nothing special on the calendar for today. My wife's off to meet a friend for coffee at lunchtime, having gone to do that yesterday before discovering, after she'd gone into town, that she'd got the day wrong. She ended up having a coffee with me instead when I went to pick her up. Our youngest has already left for his shift at Tesco and it's the last game of the season for our eldest's futsal team, with a 15:30 KO over in Andover.

Congrats @Colin g on your brace of HSs. I could only manage a 6.1 this morning.

Have a good Sunday, all.

6.2

Two show day yesterday. First was a bit of a bland “meh” that was ok but I was expecting more. Second was genuinely interesting if somewhat uneven but lost all credibility when during the bows the company whipped out keffiyeh and Palestinian flags which prompted a near universal standing ovation.

I remained seated. I saw others who also remained seated and stopped applauding.

I will be in touch with the choreographer and with Sadler’s Wells in an attempt to see if this was in any way approved by the venue. It was disgusting.

Morning all and 6.9 for me.

Aching arms from wielding the extended pruning saw yesterday. Dead branches removed and more daylight coming through.

The prescription I picked up yesterday wasn't what I expected. I got some 'arrears' of Creon and novo rapid. Has the drought ended?

Have a good day everyone.

A 6 for me today after a run of 7's and the odd 8.

Bit sore today, fell over on a roadside yesterday and banged my thigh and arm. Knocked the stuffing out of me at the time and it took me a while, with some help, to get back on my feet. The most irritating thing was I missed the fun in the field where my family and a local farmer were attempting to corner the Hebrideans to give them their inoculations against some of those things that kill sheep. Hebrideans don't take to being herded.

Not stopped me cooking. Batch of ragout made. Pork was Oxford Black and Tan. I reckon that makes it a rare ragout. Brownies cooking now.

Morning everyone. Another glorious day here, but a lowly 4.2 on the finger-prick. I think I
should have eaten more chocolate before bed last night,

Have a good day folks, and don't forget the sun lotion...

They look nice and healthy. Should be fine outdoors now. They like a reasonable amount of sun but dry out quickly in hot weather so need daily watering. Put them somewhere you will be able to check them easily.

thanks

OMG I am so envious! You are all banging on about what a glorious day you are having and it's raining here! We were going to put the bedding plants in today.... but not in the rain. Instead we're going to a garden centre where I know they have super herbs, so at least I will achieve something!

4.1 this morning, then noticed a load of bubbles in the tubing, so had to fiddle around priming. The ypsopump/Libre 3+ set up is great from a control POV, but the pump itself is hellish complicated and fiddly!

Gotta rush as I'm still in my PJs and need to get out sooner rather than later!

7.9 slightly late this morning at 0830, took my basal and promptly fell asleep again 🙄
The higher BG doesn't really surprise me as we had scampi, chips and mushy peas from t'chippy last night. BGs were higher all evening until I took a 3u correction at midnight.

Quite warm today, breezy and sunny, so sat in a vest - my normal sunny summer dress code or, more usual - a warm hoodie; not bad weather per say - only the wrong clothes, usual sort of summer. Hope I'm not pre-empting the summer.

I didn't go to the podiatrist yesterday, but my OH did followed by the market (handbags & wallets) then up to the MiLs accompanied by two large sausage rolls from Greggs; I stayed behind and got on with the gardening - mainly weeding and watering in the shade. My ancient strawberries hadn't seen any dampness since the last rain, as neither did my mini Laurel hedge on the potted ferns, the newly potted Virginia Creepers looked a little dry too.

Good afternoon everyone! 11'3 when I woke up around 7 am.

Bolused a bit extra for my toast and it went down to a nicer 7'7. I just had some food in my work break, which I accidentally pre-bolused by 20 minutes. I was taking the injection and my boss said he had to speak with us a few minutes, then he went on and on! I became suddenly aware that my glucose tablets and my meter were far away in a cupboard. I should get back to the habit of carrying a Dextro pack in my uniform pocket, as I could have been in trouble. Especially cause I couldn't be bothered to change my sensor last night. I've not had time to rest properly after my holiday and it has made me a bit careless Group 7-day waking average? (14)

Morning a 7.1 for me and a short but decent sleep due to warm weather band dogs up early.
Lovely lunch out yesterday and sat outside at local nursery where we had a lovely backdrop of trees and also found out our local artisan bakery which is in the countryside has opened up a new coffee shop this week.
So enjoying weather and spent a lot of time in garden yesterday so my levels up and down as drop low due to effort and then have to eat more to get back higher so always a bit of juggling.
Nice week ahead and dropping son off at work for 9am and then heading off for a day in Cheshire.
Have a good week all and hope you had a great w/ end
